Popcorn Recipe Contest Continues for Fourth Year

The Festival will be handling the Popcorn Recipe Contest this year as well as act as judges for the entries. Recipes must be made with popcorn in it. From salads and casseroles to desserts; you are the chef and can enter your recipe. The top prize winner will get a $20 gift certificate to use in the Reddie-to-Wear Souvenir shop located near the Popcorn House. Bring in your delectable creations from 9-11 AM, Saturday, October 2nd, along with your name, address, written out recipe, and phone number and you can win. You will also be awarded a blue ribbon for your winning entry and your recipe will go into a Popcorn Recipe Cookbook. This year, our Scarecrow Committee Members, Cindy Schmitz and Susan Holmes, will be handling the contest and coordinating all the entries.
