Build a Scarecrow Contest
Continues for Fourth Year
The Festival will be handling the Build a Scarecrow Contest this
year as well as act as judges for the
entries. Scarecrow that look like farmers, like Orville, male or
female, or like a character you know can
be done. The top prize winner will get a $20 gift certificate to
use in the Reddie-to-Wear Souvenir
shop located near the Popcorn House. Bring in your creations
from 9-11 AM, Saturday, October 2nd,
along with your name, address, and phone number and you can win.
You will also be awarded a blue
ribbon for your winning entry. This year, our Scarecrow
Committee Members, Cindy Schmitz and Susan
Holmes, will be handling the contest and coordinating all the
entries. For more information, please
