Welcome to Our Website
Our fifth
year was a success regardless of the record breaker high
temperatures and humidity for this time of year. It kept a lot of
people from coming since most wanted to have those cooler autumn
temperatures to attend the Festival.
The
high temperatures and humidity did keep a lot of the people from
coming
to the Festival.
However, it was estimated that the crowd was about the same as last
year. We had several big hits this year with the
ConAgra Corn Maze,
Farmer Ron's Amazing Fieldtrip,
Popcorn Eating Contest, Lion's
Club Bed Race, Orville Look-Alike Contest, and the
Creedence Again Tribute
Band. Most of our positive comments were about our choice of
Luehr's Ideal Rides
carnival that was a huge success and we are happy to say that they
will be coming back for 2008.
The Popcorn
Fest ival Board thanks each and every one of you for the fabulous
interest, ideas, volunteerism, and memberships that we received this
year. We could not have done it without the community support of
our businesses, organizations, and volunteers who made this year's
Festival better than the last. Watch for changes as we update our
website throughout the 2008 year.

Festival Queen and Her Court at K-Day Parade
The Popcorn Festival Queen, Sandy Little
and First Runner-up, Olivia Kumpf were on hand to wave at the
audience in the annual Kiwanis Day Parade that took place on the
downtown streets of Brazil on Saturday, 22 September. Ms. Little
and Ms. Kumpf looked beautiful in there gowns, sashes, and crowns. .....(more>>>)

Sandy Little Crowned as 2007
Popcorn Festival Queen
 Sandra
Little, along with her friends and that included all those who were
contestants in this year’s Festival Scholarship Pageant, did expect
to participate in a pageant. Sandy and her friends had never done
anything like this before. But after Ms. Little was crowned as the
2007 Popcorn Festival Queen; she now
